Compatibility and Availability According to Android expert Mishaal Rahman, the new auto-zoom feature is included in the bundled ML Kit Barcode Scanning API library versions 17.2.0 and 18.3.0 (available for download via Google Play Services). Additionally, it is part of version 16.1.0 of the code scanner API alone. It is possible that devices running Android 13 or newer, which utilize the same ML Kit Barcode Scanning library, may receive this convenient QR code scanning feature.
